Black & White Portraits with Mikayla

The first time I shot with Mikayla was on the Polaroid Flip and the entire experience was frustrating. I haven't shared the photos since they just were not up to my standards, absolutely not her fault. I wanted the opportunity to work with her again and she pulled through for me! I have been obsessed with tight portraits since adding the SX-70 into my collection, and love shooting outdoors in natural light. For this series, Mikayla is wearing a yellow, white, and black striped 90s tank top along with a 90s velvet coverup that I thrifted in Palatka. Glasses and necklace are model's own. Because this was my first time shooting with black & white in the SX-70, I kept everything on auto. One photo is underexposed (in a beautiful way) because I forgot to turn the flash on. I did send my camera back to the tech after this shoot since I have what he thinks is a light leak, it shows up when my camera is pointed towards the sky. Hopefully I get it back soon so I can get in more practice!
