Vintage Weirdo Market October 2025

The Vintage Weirdo Market is held every third Sunday of the month inside and outside of Root Down and Birdie's in 5 Points, Jacksonville, FL. I did this entire shoot on auto, point-and-shoot style. Out of the 17 photos I shot, the autofocus missed on a few (I discarded one of these). I just didn't have the space or time to do everything on manual with a tripod for this, as I was also vending, so I was actually quite pleased how these turned out. I definitely prefer learning how to set my own exposure as opposed to relying on the camera to guess, as light skin and clothes seem to make things a bit overexposed and the flash brighter than it should be. I have seen some anecdotes online that the Flip easily overexposes, so I don't think the problem is just me. Point and Shoot vs Manual will definitely be different experiences with this camera. The color frames had some heat damage, which doesn't bother me too much in this situation. The round frames were great and always look so nice for portraits, especially tight ones. Overall, I had a really nice day hanging with my husband, slinging clothes, and taking pics. Hopefully I will be able to attend the market again in the future.
