Valentine's Day Pop Up
Share
Although I am familiar with shooting events, I have been deciding to get my feet wet in doing a pop-up set up, as opposed to walking around. I used a pink paper backdrop from Savage, along with my portable backdrop stand, daylight light with umbrella, and two portrait lights with umbrellas. Since I am newer to doing things like this, I didn't consider the balloons being too big for such tight portraits. However, you live and you learn. I ran through a good chunk of film, but didn't keep most of the photos since customers were purchasing the hard copy as part of a Valentine's Day themed event. Fortunately some people posed for me to have a few examples to show. I used my Polaroid SX-70r for these photos with the Mint Flashbar 2 (which I am still getting used to). These photos were embellished by me with mostly thrifted stickers and gems. My husband also shot portraits on his digital camera and we printed them onto Instax for a more affordable option (no examples available).
