Polaroid Photos From Jacksonville Art Walk

I never know from month to month if I will be able to make it out to Art Walk. Between rain, extreme heat, and wind, I don't announce when I will be out taking photos and I don't usually decide until the day before. Luckily, the weather was great for Polaroid photos this month. Instead of walking around and asking strangers like I usually do, this month I set up a little table, cart, and sign, and waited for people to approach me. I wanted to do more panographs, but my back had other plans (I have scoliosis and sometimes it kicks my ass). So I switched to doing regular portraits fairly quickly. I also took some photos on Polaroid Go Gen 2, but those are for another blog.

One of the many reasons I do free portraits is that I am able take do a lot of photos at once. Usually when I carry my camera around I shoot 0-4 photos in a given day. But when I am able to do them for free, I obviously can snap a lot of people. A limit I am noticing is the Mint Flashbar 2 has a sweet zone and that's about it. What I need is an off camera flash with stand and umbrella, especially for when I am shooting outdoors. Hopefully I can save up and get one before fall. Then I can open up real full body shots.
